Chevre Zoliner Society plots are located at these cemeteries. Directions
to these cemeteries are available at Edward Rosenbaum's cemetery
web site:
Mount Zion Cemetery in Queens, New York City (plot established
1920).
Path 13 (in Left Section, west of Path A).
Mount Hebron Cemetery in Queens, New York City (plot established
1927).
Block 22, Section J (facing Block 19).
Floral Park Cemetery in Monmouth, New Jersey (established 1952).
Block B (on "Jaffa Avenue").
The following lists were compiled through personal observation
and are updated from time to time (last update was Spring 2001).
Erosion has made a few of the markers illegible, particularly those
of older stones on children's graves, often made of a softer material.
Efforts are being made to identify names through cemetery records.
Hebrew names are transliterated using standard reference works,
but in a few cases a clear English spelling could not be established
and a phonetic spelling was derived for this list. Please note that
"ch" is meant to pronounced as in "L'chaim."
The key to the charts are as follows: "Z" means Mount
Zion Cemetery; "H" means Mount Hebron Cemetery; "F"
means Floral Park Cemetery; "D" means someone was originally
buried in a Zoliner plot but was disinterred and reburied elsewhere.
