SITE INFORMATION and WHAT'S NEW

Basic Information About This Site:

  • The Zolynia Memorial site is currently maintained by Michael A. Miller, an independent researcher who works with other researchers and with the Erste Zoliner Chevre Anshei Sfard organization in New York to compile information for presentation.

  • This site will work in all popular web browsers that are Version 3 or higher. However, MS Internet Explorer Version 3 will not correctly display some graphic effects, though links will function without error. You can download the MS Windows-standard Verdana and Trebuchet fonts used throughout this site if they are not already installed on your computer (if they are not installed, your browser will substitute other fonts which will work but which may alter the intended visual design).

  • Only English characters are used in the spelling of Polish words (Polish characters can't be viewed correctly by most Internet users). Please contact us with any questions regarding the proper spelling of Polish words used here.

  • Click on any photograph or map (left-click on PCs running MS Windows) to open a pop-up window with an enlarged view (not compatible with some old browsers Version 3 or lower).
  • The site search script, provided by JavaScript Kit, uses the Google search engine to help users find names, places and other terms used within the site. The site search function uses all the features of a basic Google search (Google "cheat sheet"). Use quotation marks (",") to find an exact phrase.
